iv passed my test with him very recently and I have to say that learning how to drive with him was a solid decision. I've had experience driving with other instructors in the past but I have to say that Neil has undoubtedly been the most helpful and the most calm instructor that I've learned how drive with. Sometimes, I would make quite a few mistakes as a learned does like unfortunately missing an exit on the dual carriageway but he still managed to keep his calm whereas other driving instructors might not have done that, especially after a long day of other learners who might have been doing similar things.

I, without a doubt, would recommend Neil to anyone who's in the area and I genuinely might do if a friend of mine were to ever ask.

Neil and I have been driving together for a long while but I must say, thank you - with your help, I can do what I set out to do which is to drive safely on the roads. Thank you so much Neil, it's much appreciated.

I have been having lessons with Neil since February with a couple of months off in between. Started from ground zero. Today I passed first time! Need I say anymore? 😜

Neil always has the answer, whatever your concern might be. He will give you all the knowledge and skills you need. Will not push you, and will know when you are ready.

Neil is a kind and supportive instructor he will try his best to help you if you're struggling with anything. He does not get annoyed or irritated if you mess up. Encourages you to think positively when driving and not to worry when you make mistakes because you will go over them again.

He has a great sense of humour and is up for a laugh.

Neil taught my son William to drive from the beginning. Neil was always punctual, reliable, patient and flexible. He was very good at teaching different manoeuvres and generally giving good advice to help William pass his driving test the first time. He has a good sense of humour  and made the lessons really enjoyable. We appreciate all his help.

My English listening and speaking are not good, no one is willing to teach me to learn to drive, only you Neil Hughes patiently teach me, I am very lucky to have such a patient coach! I also took a mock test many times before the test, reminding me of the things that need to be paid attention to many times. I am really lucky to meet you, and I also hope that people who learn to drive can meet such a good coach!

Neil is one good driving instructor and very supportive before I had lessons with Neil I was on and off driving lessons getting no where I managed to find Neil by my brother as My brother tim had passed his practical with Neil first time I started my lessons with Neil on the 20th September this year and my test was booked for 18th November in bury st edmunds which was today it was quite stressful knowing I hat to try my best in 2 months. Neil really did help my out as I wasn’t the best at all and when it came to the last week it did feel very intense but Neil helped me get through it and helped me in any way he could to make sure I pass. Neil is so good at what he does and I don’t how but he always stays calm which I wouldn’t say is easy being driving instructor but he is good at what he does and I would recommend Neil all the way coz I passed my test today first time wasn’t expecting it as I had done it on a short amount of time but Neil always make sure you are test ready in time and I can’t thank him enough for all his help and getting me through this important part in my life so thank you very much Neil and for anyone that wants a good driving instructor neil huges is the one!👏

neil is a fantastic instructor and he helped me get over my fear of stalling and talking me though it. Also help me do forward park as I could not get how to do it he has patience of a Saint.

I would recommend Neil to everyone who's willing to learn fast and not feel stressed about the whole learning process.

I personaly feel very lucky to have met Neil and to have a chance to learn from him.

He found the right words to encourage me. I eventually realised 'I can do it'! 

I remember being very stressed about 'doing roundabouts'. Neil simply said something like: let's go for it. He said it in such a way that made me think- well, it's actually easy to do! And it wasn't complicated at all!

I personaly think Neil is a very good driving instructor, genuinely willing to share his knowledge and experience.

He actually made me like, even enjoy driving. Trying to learn to drive with other instructors I used to think of driving as just another daily task that needs doing. Neil has helped me to see things from a different angle, which is great. 

Apart from that, Neil is friendly, down to Earth person, easy to get on with. It felt like driving with a friend sitting next to you, which makes you relaxed and so it enables you to learn faster.

I honestly think, everyone should experience at least one driving lesson with Neil!

Neil is the best driving teacher I have ever had. When I started having lessons with him, I already had a driving license but I was very scared of driving, and I thought I would never be able to overcome my fear. Thanks to his lessons, I did! Neil is very calm and encouraging and prepares you for every situation on the road. drive on my own both in Italy and in England and I feel very confident about it.
